Announcing our 2018 Calendar!

Each year, we strive to perfect our calendar so customers can use the calendar for a variety of tasks. Our 2018 Calendar is our favorite calendar so far for several reasons. First, we kept the (approximately) 6×8 inch size. This calendar size fits nicely inside of the A5 size journals that are now popular for journaling, including the very popular Bullet Journal or BuJo for those in the know. In addition, the 2018 Calendar looks spectacular in a frame due to the wider borders to accommodate a mat. Finally, we enlarged the size of the letters and numerals in the calendar itself for even better reading. This improvement gives the calendar a bolder look that is complimented nicely with a modern calligraphy font.

Busy, Busy, Busy & Some French Toast

This time of year for a designer means gearing up for the fall and winter seasons.  That means long hours at the computer, working with vendors and suppliers, and a stiff back and neck.

So, this weekend I decided to “splurge” and cook brunch.  When thinking about my brunch menu, I FINALLY remembered how much I love french toast.  Even though it is one of my favorite breakfast/brunch foods, I rarely make it because I simply do not think to make it.  I know, it’s weird.  But, I remembered today.

I am always looking to repurpose items I have in my home.  Since I am no longer chained to a 9-to-5 day job, I do not have to make a lunch each day and have little use for things like this…

But, the Wonder Sandwich container makes a great “bowl” to soak up the egg mixture for french toast.

Recent Work :: Custom Free Giveaway Coasters

The owner of Twin2u2 Designs (who is also my big sister) contacted me this week about designing a free gift/giveaway for customers at craft shows.  Jan creates one-of-a-kind greetings cards and other fine paper goods.

We came up with the idea to re-purpose her business card design and create a business card coaster.

The design looks stunning on the coaster stock.  The thick stock (80 pt) made the butterfly image pop and the rich purple color makes the coaster stand out.
