This time of year for a designer means gearing up for the fall and winter seasons. That means long hours at the computer, working with vendors and suppliers, and a stiff back and neck.
So, this weekend I decided to “splurge” and cook brunch. When thinking about my brunch menu, I FINALLY remembered how much I love french toast. Even though it is one of my favorite breakfast/brunch foods, I rarely make it because I simply do not think to make it. I know, it’s weird. But, I remembered today.
I am always looking to repurpose items I have in my home. Since I am no longer chained to a 9-to-5 day job, I do not have to make a lunch each day and have little use for things like this…
But, the Wonder Sandwich container makes a great “bowl” to soak up the egg mixture for french toast.
Umm, umm, good. Bet I remember to make french toast more often now!
